So basically this dress has all of my current favs right now. Pleats, polka dots,& burgundy.<3.

I also really appreciate the cute little button detail on the shoulders and flowy, sheer sleeves.

Ohhh and it's really comfy too, score!

How is everyone's weekend going so far?! Mine is good! Met up with my two of my super fun cousins for coffee and did some window shopping at the U-Village. Lots of laughter...it was great!

Tomorrow will be a fun filled day of filing taxes and cleaning around the apartment...woooo! This girl knows how to spend her Sunday! :)

Lately, I have been completely drawn towards and obsessed with prints! Floral, polka dot, cute and fun animals...can.not.get.enough! Spare me the basics and give me something fun please :)

I was so close to purchasing the adorable horsey dress, but they are all sold out. Booo me. But fear not, I totally scored a horse printed dress and can't wait to get it! Hurrry up, mail!

Life Lately...

With all this snow in the Seattle area lately, it is hard not to take full advantage of everything it entails:

-The hubs and I making a mini-snowman on our patio.

-Hot cocoa and spending time in pjs.

-Bundling up in everything cute and comfy.

-Acting like a 5 year old in the snow.

-Cat sharing sneaking said cocoa.

-AND of course, snowball making!

Coat & TOMS

I am going to blame the fact that I want everything warm and furry ever created, on all of this snow we have been having lately.

I have been pretty obsessed with the above coat for awhile now, but have been wishing for it this week more than ever because of said snow...and because the print is oh-so-awesome, along with the toggle closures and fur collar.

And TOMS! Who doesn't love these shoes?! I have about three pairs of the classics, but have been dying to get my mitts on these cozy lookin' babes....

Any substantial amount of snow in the Seattle area is a big deal. As soon as the snow starts sticking people start throwing around the terms snowmageddon and snowpocalypse, it's pretty amusing and silly.

Whenever I see the first few flakes fall, I am instantly drawn towards flannel. Love it. So comfy, wintery, and woodsy. My sister said I looked like a lumberjack's dream in this outfit. Best.compliment.ever.

So back to the snow, it is really pretty and I am loving it.  I especially appreciate how peaceful and quiet it is, with only a few birds chirping in the distance. Tim and I went for an amazingly beautiful walk today down to the river trail and froze our noses off, but it was totally worth it. 

Back to work tomorrow after a killer three-day weekend. Hope everyone had a great weekend and Monday :)

I especially like these four items the most currently, but they have so much great stuff it's really hard to narrow it down. From the perfectly braided leather watch, smooth flats and bag and super soft & cozy looking hat, I am just super smitten with all the perfect textures.

How was everyones weekend?! Great, I hope. I know mine was!

Yesterday was such a lazy Sunday, we didn't leave the house once and we stayed in our pj's all day, it was awesome. I finally got around to taking all our Christmas decorations down, can you say procrastination much? Now our apartment looks nice and back to normal. Does anyone else get super tired of lookin at all that stuff after awhile? I love Christmas time, but when it's done...it's done. 

Sooo I love bicycles so much I figured I should start wearing them on my clothing. I do it with animals, why not with modes of transportation too? As soon as I saw this skirt, I got super giddy and snatch it right up.

I also really appreciate the pretty red color and cute button up detail.

P.S.

I really, really love black and brown together...and I don't care who knows it :)

Skirts Galore!

That is my wish for the week; skirts, skirts and more skirts! I purchased one the other day with some Christmas money and ever since, I can't stop thinking about the awesome versatility and styling options  skirts have to offer. Must. Get. More.

Also, I totally drooled over the Orange quilted one for a good 5 minutes while shopping in Anthropologie the other day. I just couldn't bring myself to spending 100 bones on 1 skirt. Lame.

First outfit post of 2012! Woooo.

This is probably my favorite outfit I have put together in a long time. I felt so comfy and ladylike in it, esp. considering the perfect knee length cut of this dress. I saw the dress in Anthro's display window a few months back, ran to it with open arms and then proceeded to sob when I looked at the price tag. You know, my usual response to items when browsing in that heavenly store.

A few days after Christmas I wanted to do a little shopping, hoping to score some sweet deals. Well, I did...this dress...for only $50. O.m.g. So happy. From the pretty marigold yellow color, soft wool fabric, and amazing chain link cable knit, I am totally in love. I paired it with my fav. cardigan (which for some weird reason has never made an appearance on here before), braided belt, and lovely vintage necklace my brother and sister-in-law got me for my Birthday.

Also, trees in sweaters!! Isn't that the coolest thing ever?! These cute hand knitted guys have been popping up all over the Seattle area, and I was sooo happy to finally spot a few after hearing so much about them. So fun! :)

P.S. While taking these photos some dude on a bike yelled at me, "I like your style!!" hahahha If only he knew that I was taking those photos for my wee little blog......first time that ever happened. After the fact, we both wished that Tim would have yelled back "Thanks!" lol :)
